GFG Chocolate Cake


  • 6 eggs stored at room temperature
  • 2tsp vanilla essence
  • 2tbs cocoa
  • 200g GFG self-raising flour
  • 200g soft butter
  • 175g sugar
Oven: 180C
Servings: 1kg cake


  1. Beat sugar and butter until creamy, add eggs, flour, vanilla essence and cocoa.
  2. Bake at 180C for an hour in pre heated oven, or when a knife comes out clear.
  3. Cool, and store in air tight container.
